Nature of Work This is a fulltime position that reports to the Parks and Recreation Director.  The Parks and Recreation Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of public parks, recreational facilities, and open spaces and works to ensure that these spaces are safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all members of the community.  This position is responsible for the writing and administration of grants; park improvement projects; budget development and oversight; recruitment, selection, and evaluation of staff; and other duties as assigned by the director.   Examples of Work Performed Work performed includes, but is not limited to: Grant writing, administratio
