The City and Borough of Juneau is hiring a Parks & Recreation (P&R) Director to lead one of the City and Borough of Juneau's (CBJ) largest departments, with responsibilities over areawide recreation, youth services, aquatics, the ice rink, field house, public facilities and parks maintenance, downtown parking management, and the development of new parks, recreational opportunities, and long-term community planning. Serving at the pleasure of the City Manager, the Parks & Recreation Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Parks & Rec activities borough-wide, ensures the department plans diverse recreation programs, manages public facilities, and collaborates with various boards, committees, nonprofits, and agencies to provid
