Metroparks Toledo is one of the leading conservation organizations.  We have over 12,000 acres of land. We are a local government entity, highly supported by the tax payers of the Northwest Ohio community. Ecosystems in this region that exist as part of the Metroparks include: the Lake Erie Coastal Zone, the Oak Openings Region, the Great Black Swamp, and the Maumee River. Metroparks is committed to preserving and restoring these habitats and sharing them with the community.
