Under limited supervision, performs supervisory and recreational work in developing, supervising and administering an athletic program of organized youth and/or adult athletic activities, camps and before and after school programs, transportation, and related special events for the City Parks and Recreation Department. Work involves developing and organizing recreation and athletic programs for youth, and adults; meeting with community groups and individuals to determine recreational and athletic program needs and interests; and supervising a staff of athletic and recreation supervisors and aides.
