Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required.
Reports to: Associate Director of Athletics Operations & Facilities

Approved Salary Range: $48,400 - $52,500
Job Description:
The Performance Enhancement Coach is responsible for enhancing the competitive performance of intercollegiate student-athletes and reducing injury risk by implementing injury prevention programs focusing on strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement strength & conditioning training programs; create/direct sport-specific and gender specific speed, strength and agility workouts for varsity athletic teams.
Provide strength & conditioning educational sessions to varsity/club/recreation participants, as well as general users of athletics facilities.
Work with the Athletic Training Staff to implement injury prevention programs and coordinate rehabilitation protocols following an injury.
Provide Head Coaches with analytical feedback on individual performance metrics and injury rates.
Manage strength and fitness facilities and supervise student employees.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Biomechanics, exercise science, or related field.
At least 1 years of relevant experience working in Intercollegiate Athletics.
First-aid & CPR certifications.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
Ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.
Evidence of a commitment to community & belonging.
Valid driver's license.
Successful interview.
Successful completion of background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
CSCS from NCSA; or SCCC from CSCCa.
Experience working at Liberal Arts College.
