The City of Fredericksburg is seeking applications for a Recreation Coordinator. Under general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent, the Recreation Coordinator is responsible for organizing, supervising, and coordinating program development of aquatics and athletic recreational services, special events and facility use operations of City aquatics and athletic facilities and associated staff.  A bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation or a related field of study is preferred, plus three (3) years of experience.  Certified pool operator, American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Lifeguard Instructor and Standard First Aid certifications required or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
