The City of Newport is seeking a dedicated, professional, and hard-working individual to fill a part-time Parks Maintenance/Custodial position. This position will maintain City parks, including weed control, pruning, mowing, litter pickup, planting, park amenity repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment, to ensure City parks offer clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing recreational opportunities for community members and visitors to the City. In addition, the position will maintain and clean city-owned restrooms and trash receptacles located at parks and major tourist destinations. This is a 29 hour/week, non-benefited position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings.
