Heartland Community College seeks applicants for the part-time position of Athletic Department Graduate Assistant - Game Day Operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance in the following areas:
game day operations for all sports (baseball, softball, soccer, golf, volleyball, and cross country) at the Corn Crib and Fitness & Recreation Center (FRC)
set up, run, and operate as onsite contact during NJCAA games
event management
project management, development, and research
fundraising initiatives
general day-to-day operations of the athletic department and FRC
Required Qualifications:
acceptance into/enrollment in a Sports Management or other relevant graduate program
eligibility for graduate assistantship per the Graduate Assistant Handbook
availability to work both evening and weekend hours as needed
Desired Qualifications:
proficient writing skills
strong leadership skills
ability to function professionally under pressure and utilize strong problem-solving skills
experience using StatCrew, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
familiarity with various social media outlets
Position is anticipated to include up to 28 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be required to follow regulations and guidelines of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the Midwestern Athletic Conference (MWAC), the Athletics Department, and Heartland Community College.
