The City of Columbia, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a self-directed, team-oriented professional to serve as Recreation and Community Programs Superintendent over the Activity and Recreation Center and Aquatics. This role oversees operations of a 73,000 sq. ft. facility, supervises five (5) full-time staff, supports recruitment, training, and retention, manages budgets and program marketing, evaluates policies and procedures, coordinates facility use, and assists with department-wide events. Strong leadership, budget management, and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
