The City of Newport is seeking professional and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Recreation Leader for our summer programs. This position will provide healthy, safe recreation experiences for children and adult participants and volunteers in recreation activities and programs. Oversee small groups of children independently and large groups of children as a member of a team. Sign-on Bonus of $500 payable upon completion of first full payroll cycle. Retention Bonus of $750 payable upon completion of six (6) full months of employment. This is a part-time (less than 20 hours a week), non-benefited position. The person hired will need to be able to work a flexible and varied schedule.
