Principal Duties and Responsibilities: •Serve as the primary media contact for assigned sport(s). This includes writing and distributing press releases, website maintenance, statistical recordkeeping, event management, fielding media requests and promoting awareness of the program to the local and national media outlets. (40%) •Manage social media accounts for assigned sport(s) and assist in management of athletics department, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball social media initiatives. (15%) •Assist with the design and maintenance of the Athletic Department website. (15%) •Serve as liaison with local and national media on Athletic Department matters.
