KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) is the senior executive with comprehensive responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Governors Island, as well as for the planning and execution of strategic initiatives that enable the Trust to operate more effectively and sustainably, and to better support the Island’s growing community of visitors and tenants. The COO is an essential member of TGI’s senior team and manages a significant portion of the Island’s annual operating budget and staff.
