POSITION SUMMARY:The role of this position is to plan, supervise, and coordinate comprehensive offering of sports, athletics, community education, senior programming, special events, field scheduling and other general programming functions to address the recreation and leisure needs of the entire community. Work requires considerable coordination with the Parks and Recreation Administration Division, the Parks Division, the Harward Recreation Center Division, and other City of Nampa Departments. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Parks and Recreation Director, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
