Job Description:Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, the Recreation Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and daily operations of the City of Boerne’s recreational programs and facilities. This includes the administration of athletic leagues, community education programs, aquatics, special events, splash pads, social media, and non-city sponsored special event applications. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs); establishing and achieving program goals and objectives; and ensuring compliance with departmental policies.
