The Executive Director position is under the direct supervision of the VLPRA Board, the Director is responsible for the implementation of agency policy and the overall management of the parks and recreation system. The primary function of the Director is to carry out the Authority’s statutory responsibilities and to enact and follow the policies adopted by the VLPRA Board. This position shall be the administrative head of all departments of the Authority, in regards to recreation programming, personnel management, facility development, and business management.  Applicants must submit a resume along with three professional references with the application to be eligible for consideration.
