This is a salaried position (exempt from over-time pay) that is responsible for the supervision of summer and program staff, event and program coordination, and all operations of the City park system. The position is responsible for ensuring the facilities, grounds, and programs are well maintained in coordination with the City’s Maintenance team and meet the needs of the community. The Parks Manager develops and implements park policies and procedures, assists with the development of a master parks plan, manages the park budget, promotes park usage and community engagement, is responsible for the implementation of a new membership management system for the City Pool, and manages all aspects of summer tennis and swim programs.
