The Assistant Department Director of Athletics & Action Sports leads the division in coordinating and managing numerous athletic venues, action sport facilities, programs, events, and partnerships such as Memorial and Olympia Stadiums, Central Sports Park, Oak Villa Complex, Perkins Extreme Sports, Sports Academy, Kathy Sports Park, disc golf courses, and others. The Assistant Director performs advanced professional work within the administrative office and is responsible for the administration, staffing, training, scheduling and security of facilities and parks under the direction of the Department Director Recreation. May assume responsibilities of the Department Director Recreation in their absence. Will interact with BREC staff and the public daily, in person and by telephone.
