This position directs the Planning division within Ramsey County Parks & Recreation.  Examples of work performed: Promote a diverse, culturally competent, and respectful workplace. Direct Park planning activities, to include: identifying goals and objectives; formulating capital improvement programs; establishing appropriate methods and procedures and the proper sequence for completing each phase of planned functions; directing the work of professional planning staff in all phases of planning functions; and monitoring progress towards established goals. Represent the department in contacts with governmental agencies, civic groups and related interests in order to solicit public concerns, promote the County’s interests in park planning
