JOB SUMMARY The Parks & Recreation Manager coordinates, plans, organizes and manages the park services division for the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department including the areas of natural resource management, golf & sports turf, planning, construction, and park maintenance. An applicant must have a strong background in the field of parks and recreation, natural resources, or planning and construction. The position is responsible for the management and maintenance of the park system including 3,875 acres of park and green space, 79 parks, 62 miles of trails, and 12 indoor recreation facilities.
