What You'll Do:

• Lead a dedicated team of ambassadors, ensuring the park is safe, clean, and welcoming for all visitors.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations, including safety patrols, cleaning services, and community engagement activities.
• Partner with local organizations and stakeholders to create a positive impact and maintain strong relationships within the community.
• Manage staff performance, training, and scheduling to ensure high-quality service.
• Monitor and report on park activities, safety concerns, and operational improvements.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the visitor experience and foster a sense of community within Church Street Park.

• Proven leadership experience in operations management, public space management, or a similar field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with community stakeholders, public-private partnerships, or urban park management is a plus

Requirements:

Experienced manager in following: urban planning, public administration, or related field preferred, but not required

3+ years of experience in operations or supervisory roles

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work outside in all types of weather. Ability to traverse, stand, bend and stoop for short and extended periods of time.

Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
