University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletics and Recreation is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer. The Assistant Athletic Trainer evaluates athletic injuries, consults with team physicians and/or healthcare professionals, provides health care, and referrals for patients in support of injury care and injury prevention for 16 varsity sports. Salary range for the Assistant Athletic Trainer is $48,000 - 51,000. This position has the option to be year-round, or 11 months with a 4 week break over summer. Responsibilities: Provide practice and event coverage including evenings and weekends Supervise athletic training facilities and student first aiders. Provide care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and documentation of injuries for assigned sport responsibilities.
