BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  Under the direction of the Director of Parks & Recreation, assist in the planning, coordination and management of the Parks & Recreation Department. The Assistant Director is responsible for multiple divisions within the department in addition to being assigned various projects. Assists with budget development and administration, development and presentation of long and short term strategic plans.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in parks and recreation administration, public administration, or related field is required; requires four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in the administration
