The University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for its next Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation. This is a full-time, year-round position based primarily on the Gorham campus. This position pays an annual salary of $115,000 plus a 10% contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Reporting to the President of the University of Southern Maine, the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation is responsible for providing strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the University’s NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics program (including 23 intercollegiate sports programs and over 500 student-athlete participants), campus recreation including club sports, Esports, and intramural sports, and campus fitness and wellness programs.
