Join Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation and bring your passion for the outdoors to life. We're in search of a dedicated individual to take charge of our live animal collection and spearhead the development and execution of nature programs at Rockwood Nature Center. Responsibilities include overseeing the care of our animals on a daily basis, managing animal care staff schedules, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring the inventory of necessary dietary and care items. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to supervise both youth and adult participants, organize and execute activities catering to a diverse audience, and compile detailed reports. Flexibility is key as you may be required to assist with or perform other work as needed.
