Job Summary:  The Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation will serve under the Direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation.  This position oversees daily operations of several divisions and requires knowledge of recreation activities, parks, maintenance and special projects, finance and budgeting, policy and program administration, and administrative support.   Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  This information is intended to be descriptive of the principle duties and responsibilities of the position.  The following examples do not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent.
