Position: The Department of Recreation and Tourism Management (RTM) at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The successful candidate will teach with a specialization in outdoor adventure education with competence to teach additional core courses at the undergraduate program. The successful candidate will maintain an active research program leading to peer-reviewed publications, active participation in professional conferences, and service to the department and university. In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university.
