The purpose of this classification is to provide specialized professional assistance and project coordination for the Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department requiring advanced knowledge of government processes. The primary function of the employee in this position provides administration oversight to Departmental operations, including recreation and enterprise, , special events, volunteers, and functions in support of and under direction of the Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Director.  In addition, this position will provide assistance to the Director in the Parks and Parkways Division as well as the Facilities Division and will serve as acting Director during the absence of the Department’s Director.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
