The Parks and Recreation Director plans, organizes and directs the activities andstaff of the Parks and Recreation Department. This includes park development,aquatics, sports and recreation programs, facility use planning, and communityspecial events programming as well as overseeing the maintenance of parks, publicrecreation and cultural facilities, and other public grounds. The Director advises andconsults with the Parks and Recreation Commission on department policies andprocedures. Considerable independence in carrying out policy decisions anddepartmental goals under the general direction of the Town Manager.  For more information, visit:
