This full-time position will be responsible for supervising fulltime, part time, and temporary aquatic personnel including scheduling, training, and recruiting at Eastway Regional Recreation Center. This role will also oversee pool operations including pool and locker room facilities, membership management, and safety and incident reports. In addition, the Aquatic Supervisor will be responsible for the maintenance of pool safety supplies and maintaining inventory of all pool equipment. The incumbent will also assist and oversee all aquatic programming at Eastway. The candidate must possess or become certified as a Starfish Aquatic Institute Instructor in Lifeguarding and Swim Lessons within 60 days of hire. This position will work a flexible work schedule to include mornings/daytime, evenings and weekends on a rotating basis as well as serve as Manager on Duty on occasion.
Required
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing recreation programs, including cash management and aquatics experience; One (1) year of supervisory experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Park and Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Administration, or closely related field.

Licenses/Certifications: Requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver’s License and County Driving Privileges; Lifeguard Certification; First Aid and CPR/AED; CPR for the Professional Rescuer
