LCRA Parks is looking for a new member to join our East District Parks team! As Park Operations Coordinator II you will be responsible for completing repairs and performing preventive maintenance, general housekeeping of facilities, grounds work, trail work, equipment inspections and participate in setting up and providing support for events. You will be trusted to:
Conduct facility maintenance and cleaning
Handle grounds keeping and trail maintenance
Support event set-up and break-down
Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and teammates
Operate with integrity and a focus on safety
You are a great fit with:
Working knowledge of custodial means and methods
Working knowledge in landscaping and grounds maintenance
Working knowledge of mechanical principles
Skilled in using hand tools, electric powered equipment/tools, and motorized equipment used for maintenance and groundskeeping
Skill in general construction, carpentry, painting, and plumbing
Ability to safely complete minor electrical repairs
Ability to work safely with a team or individually
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to perform regular repeating tasks consistently
Basic skill level in office productivity applications
Ability to work efficiently with a team or independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift and work with items weighing over 50 pounds on a regular basis
Knowledge and experience of facility and landscape maintenance practices
Knowledge and experience in the safe operation of small engine equipment and hand tools

What we do
We produce and deliver electric power, manage the lower Colorado River and provide a reliable water supply, manage a public parks system and support community development.
LCRA is funded by revenue we generate, the vast majority of which comes from generating and transmitting electricity. A very small portion of our revenue comes from selling water. We do not receive state appropriations or have the ability to levy taxes.
LCRA has deep roots in Texas, dating as far back as the Great Depression of the 1930s. We built the chain of dams that tamed the Colorado River and brought power to rural Central Texas for the first time.
