Salary: 65,387+ based on experience

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is excited to welcome a Park and Recreation Manager to the team! This position will oversee all aspects of youth and adult athletic and fitness programs across Mecklenburg County, including but not limited to program evaluation and design, budgeting, and operations. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for participating in the strategic planning and plan for long and short-range growth and development for multiple programming areas including but not limited to sports and fitness. The incumbent will also oversee operations at Revolution Park Sports Academy. The successful candidate will remain current on industry trends and best practices and will use this knowledge to evaluate current recreation and community programs as well as develop new programs. This full-time position may be required to work evenings and weekends depending on business needs.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience in area of assignment; including one (1) year of supervisory experience or completion of an approved supervisory training program.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Licenses and Certifications: Position requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver’s License and County Driving Privileges; First Aid/CPR
