Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations, the Athletic Event Coordinator will assist in oversight of event management for all of the University of Vermont’s 18 Division I teams. The nine-month position will be from August 15-May 15.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of home athletic events, supervising the Athletic Event Staff, and being the primary liaison to visiting teams and officials.
Assist with the setup and breakdown for all home athletic events.
Hire, train, schedule and supervise all event staff workers for home athletic events including but not limited to minor officials, music operator, public address announcers, national anthem performers etc.
Work in concert with campus liaisons, including Parking & Transportation, UVM Rescue, Green Mountain Concert Security and UVM Police to secure appropriate staffing for athletic events.
Be familiar with all scoreboards and technology related to home athletic events.
Work in conjunction with Vermont Sports Properties, and the marketing department to activate content for all videoboards and digital ad boards.
Assist Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement to create PA scripts.
