The City of Largo is hiring for a Greens Superintendent to continue our proud Green Legacy for our Golf Course.  

This position supervises staff and guides through hands on experience and coordinating the best horticultural practices, pesticide applications, and irrigation usage for our location.  This position is also responsible for overseeing the training of employees assigned to the maintenance crew for the golf course and it's operations while also assigning in specific duties of their work.  This position reports to the Golf Course Manager but is encouraged  to perform tasks independently.

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) supplemented by courses in agronomy or turf management and four (4) years experience in golf course maintenance, preferably as a Greens Superintendent; or an equivalent combination of training and experience

• Restricted spray license for golf course is mandatory. Training in agronomy or turf management is required

• Valid Driver's License
