Provides administrative support to high level management, schedules appointments, and maintains calendars for various projects.
Appropriately prioritizes and identifies urgent needs and responds timely to all verbal and written communication.
Develops departmental communications.
Conducts relative research, reviews, and analysis of data relating to Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources’ projects.
Monitors the internal budget as well as provides input on potential future budget needs.
Performs CIP checks.
Prepares, assists, and ensures contractual compliance with vendors.
Serves as the primary liaison to the Office of Financial Management as the Purchasing Card Account Coordinator for PRNR. This includes reviewing purchasing card transactions and preparing a monthly reconciliation packet for Finance.
Supports division staff with bi-weekly electronic timekeeping system and acts as the FEMA daily log representative during emergency activations.
Special Projects - Assists with projects as assigned; Participates in project teams and completes special projects as assigned.
An Associate Degree from an accredited college or university.
4-6 years of secretarial or administrative experience with some executive exposure.
Year-for-year experience may substitute for the college degree.
Some supervisory experience may be required.
Advanced Professional Certification
Expertise in computer operations, software, and knowledge of business processes used to resolve budget issues and collect, analyze, and interpret data.
Job Competencies: Knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, GovMax, One Solution, OnBase, Works, and Maximo.
