The Placer County Department of Parks and Open Space is currently accepting applications for one Senior Project Manager vacancy. This position is responsible for all phases of development of capital park trail and open space projects, as well as capital replacement projects.
Ideal candidates will be highly skilled in project design, planning, environmental review and permitting, development, bidding and contracting, construction administration and management, customer service, and client interaction. Candidates will need to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, and will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements, managing professional consultants and general contractors, working closely with technical experts from other departments, and planning, budgeting, and tracking multiple projects and facilities assignments of a diverse subject matter.
Experience: Two (2) years of responsible property, real estate or facility-related project management experience performing duties similar to a Project Manager II with Placer County.
Training: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, facility management, property management, construction management, architecture, civil engineering, project management, communications, land use and urban development, finance, real estate, or a related field.
