The primary function of this position is to coordinate business operations related to University Recreation and Recreation Center Health & Wellness Programs. It also assists with the business operations of the Athletics department.

  • Serve as primary cost center manager for University Recreation and Wellness and related accounts.
  • Assist Associate Athletic Director, Business Operations and Assistant AD, Campus Recreation to develop annual budget for University Recreation.
  • Deposit and track membership, programs, and other Recreation Center revenue using Fusion, Heartland, and University Finance software and make process recommendations.
  • Reconcile and report revenue and expenses using University Finance system and Recreation’s Fusion software. Process all related journal entries.
  • Execute monthly reconciliation of employee members to payroll deductions to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Assist with revenue and expense tracking for Bachelors Barge Club Boathouse.
  • Produce budget and other related financial reports for Recreation area supervisors, Athletic sport coaches, and Athletic administrative staff on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Process purchase orders, check requests, and equipment lease payments related to Recreation and Athletics expenditures, assisting staff with contract review, tax certifications, etc.
  • Ensure that all expense recoveries are received and recorded properly on a timely basis.
  • Assist with audit/review of monthly Recreation and Athletics Department p-card and travel report submissions via Concur system
  • Process all personnel paperwork and hiring of student employees and temporary staff.
  • Assist Athletics Business Office and Athletics Department staff with implementing process improvements.
  • Assist Intercollegiate Athletics with other business-related tasks as assigned.
