Then join the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services, Area Agency on Aging. PRCS is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Manager at the Leesburg Adult Day Center in Leesburg, VA.

The Leesburg Adult Day Center is a state licensed adult day care facility which provides therapeutic activities and assistance to older adults with memory loss or other chronic disabilities. Duties include managing the day-to-day program for clients, supervising therapeutic activities, food service, transportation, and personal assistance to clients in addition to providing support to caregivers.

Additional job duties include:
• Conduct client assessments and prepare individualized care plans to ensure client needs are met
• Oversee medication administration program to ensure medication is stored, administered, and documented as required by state licensing regulations.
• Plan and perform purchasing functions and assist with billing and payment processing
• Coordinate special events and promote program through outreach and marketing.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and caregivers.
• Maintain confidential records of clients and assists in the coordination of program evaluations.
Work schedule varies and will fall between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
