Job Description:

Enhance the competitive performance of intercollegiate student-athletes and reduce injury risk by implementing injury prevention programs focusing on strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.

Essential Functions:

- Develop and implement strength & conditioning training programs; create/direct sport-specific and gender specific speed, strength and agility workouts for varsity athletic teams. - Provide strength & conditioning educational sessions to varsity/club/recreation participants, as well as general users of athletics facilities. Work with the Athletic Training Staff to implement injury prevention programs and coordinate rehabilitation protocols following an injury. - Provide Head Coaches with analytical feedback on individual performance metrics and injury rates. - Manage strength and fitness facilities and supervise student employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Biomechanics, Exercise Science, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics required
• First Aid/ CPR / AED certification required
• CSCS from NCSA; or SCC from CSCCA Required
• Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations preferred
• Experience in management of a weight training facility preferred
• Basic knowledge in Google suite preferred
• The ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.
