Playground Equipment Technician
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •    Works independently and conducts specialized playground equipment inspections and skilled labor tasks to maintain safety standards for equipment in the park system; assures safe and reliable playgrounds are provided to community residents and guests.•    Conducts detailed safety checks and inspections of playground equipment and protective surfaces in City parks; inspects new playground equipment installations and modifications to assure contractor compliance with City regulations, Department standards and ADA guidelines.•    Repairs playground equipment, components, and surfaces within scope of authority; replaces and adjusts worn and damaged mechanical parts and components; troubleshoots present and potential problems; order
