The Greenskeeper III is a Golf Course Equipment Mechanic for Portland Parks and Recreation. The Golf Course Equipment Mechanic performs mechanical repair, maintenance and modification of equipment used in golf course operations and directs others in the appropriate use of equipment and care of grounds.  Golf Course Equipment Mechanics may be required to help maintain golf course greens, grounds and facilities, including irrigation systems and directing, training and reviewing the work of others in the appropriate care of grounds and to ensure proper use and operation of equipment. Weekend work may be required for this position on an as-needed basis.
