Heavy Equipment Operator I - Spray Technician
Responsible for the operation of application equipment and the application of pesticides and fertilizer to parks and public grounds. Essential Functions: Operates light to medium equipment such as various types of mowers, backhoes, skid-steers, dump trucks, loaders and tractors with implements to perform various tasks Primary responsibility is the non-chemical/chemical application of pesticides on City property Learns and implements the City’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program as it’s and integral part of any treatment plan Is familiar with the Texas Department of Agriculture policies and procedures related to pesticide applications Operates and maneuvers vehicles and specialized sprayer and spreader equipme
