Positions allocated to this class perform duties associated with park development, redevelopment and/or improvement and may be assigned to one of the following areas of functional emphasis:  Park Planning/Landscape Architecture or Parks Construction Project Management.   Incumbents perform a broad range of analytical and technical work in their respective area of assignment (e.g. park master plan preparation, land use analysis, evaluation, planning/development and managing construction of complex, high value capital improvements, etc.)  Work involves considerable interaction with park operations personnel, other County departments, governmental agencies and the general public.
