POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director is responsible to plan, direct and evaluate the programs and services of the Parks and Recreation Department including the maintenance and repair of City parks, landscape areas and associated equipment, facilities and buildings; budget preparation and implementation; supervise and manage staff in  multiple division programs; provide responsible and administrative support to the Director; serve as Acting Director in Director’s absence; perform other related duties as required.  This position works under administrative direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Requires a regular and consistent physical presence
