PLEASE READ THE JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR APPLICATION SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS  The employee in this position maintains surveillance and enforces pool regulations to ensure and secure the safety of pool patrons. Serves as head lifeguard and leads part-time and temporary lifeguards. Administers First Aid and CPR as needed. The employee exercises reasonable initiative and independent judgment in the conduct of pool programs and activities and in response to emergency situations within the limits of established policies and procedures.  This job classification is included within the bargaining unit represented by Teamsters Local Union769 and therefore is subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Fort Lauderdal
