We Are Looking For:
An Assistant Director, Ticket Operations who will be responsible for the daily operation, development, and management of the Bren Events Center/Athletics ticket office. Will fulfill ticketing requests, by building and managing ticketed events into the Paciolan ticketing system, for variety of clients including Intercollegiate Athletics, concerts, martial arts, cultural events, student events, and other multipurpose venue events. Responsible for accurately handling and organizing various amounts of revenue generated from multiple events in compliance with University cash handling and/or business policies and procedures. Provides customer support and uses independent judgment to resolve difficult problems resulting from customer or client complaints and event emergencies, while complying with all applicable policies and procedures and maintaining customer service. Responds to customer inquiries and communicates information regarding upcoming events ensuring all ticket office staff is informed of event information, promotions, parking and other relevant information. Recruits, hires, trains and supervises all student ticket office personnel. Develops and oversees a comprehensive and ongoing training program covering all aspects of ticket office and event operations. Will works a variable schedule of hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to manage regular box office business hours and event operations hours for scheduled events, as most events occur outside of regular business hours.
What You Will Bring to This Position:
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Knowledge of Paciolan Ticketing system
Ability to perform complicated ticket system functions
Knowledge of ticketing accounting, security procedures, and cashiering controls
Knowledge of customer service standards/procedures
Demonstrated experience using personal computer, spreadsheets, databases, networks and software packages to complete reports
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Written and interpersonal communication skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience at a University or Athletic department setting
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services
Knowledge of University, Conference, and NCAA ticketing policies
Knowledge of the campus and/or medical center including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives, and infrastructure
