The Youth Learning Institute's mission is to create and deliver unique hands-on learning opportunities through non-traditional delivery system that builds relationships and improves life-skills. Our vision is to be recognized as the nation's foremost authority on the delivery of innovative experiential learning activities in nature-based settings by promoting the development of quality relationships and building effective life skills. To accomplish this, The Youth Learning Institute uses an active, energetic environment that extends learning beyond the classroom and provides real-life opportunities that support a culture of scholarship. Inquiry-based experiences create a passion for learning, unlocking a 'magic classroom.' Various modes of programming can be used to deliver academic learning in a variety of ways. Participants are immersed in activities throughout the day where even the routine becomes an opportunity for learning.
