Description: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Aquatics Coordinator oversees the seasonal aquatics operation including associated personnel and programming. General duties include recruiting, training, certifying, and supervising of aquatic staff, coordinating daily safety checks, organizing swim lessons, and lifeguarding and teaching classes as necessary. While aquatics operations will be a significant part of the job responsibilities, this position will also manage other recreation department programming areas outside of pool season including, but not limited to, adult sports leagues, fitness offerings, and special events.
