Seasonal Leadership Aquatics - June 14 to August 20
Camp Tel Noar (co-ed) welcomes qualified applicants for combination Head of Waterfront/Head of Pool. This key position is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of the waterfront, pool lifeguards and swimming staff and schedules, management of the American Red Cross swim program, sailing, boating and canoeing, windsurfing, waterskiing programs and schedules recommends purchase of pool equipment and supplies, maintain inventory; accountability for safety and welfare of the camp community while at the pool and waterfront.
Qualifications: experiences as Assistant Head of Pool, or Waterfront Department Head, such as swimming, at a residential camp; current WSI, Lifeguard Certification, CPR, First Aid, Life Guard Instruction Certification required; proven supervisory experiences and class scheduling; Bachelors degree preferred. Candidates with majors in HPER, education or leisure studies encouraged to apply.
Additional Salary Information: If traveling from outside Northeast, travel stipend may be available.

For over eighty seasons, the Cohen Camps (Pembroke-MA, Tel Noar-NH, and Tevya-NH) have brought summer excitement to children, creating traditions, and spirit. Our programs are developed intentionally around opportunities to enrich campers’ lives, cultivate life-long friendships, promote independence, and build self-confidence and self-esteem.
Our staff members are carefully selected and serve as positive role models with overall responsibilities for having fun, promoting a healthy atmosphere for living and learning, maintaining the welfare, safety and security of campers. We are recruiting licensed nurses, food service staff, buildings and grounds, and housekeeping staff. department heads (arts & crafts, songleaders, aquatics, athletics, drama, outdoor education, and photography/media), and staff for our camps’ leadership teams (head counselors, staff engagement and training, program staff).
