The 2021 Currituck Club Summer Interns play an integral part in all aspects of programming activities and events for the entire season in our exciting and very active beach resort community. Have an idea for a new game or event? You will be encouraged to plan, execute and even budget it to maximize its success and broaden your skillset.

Interns will be responsible for integrating all social media forms into their marketing efforts for the programs and activities they have planned. Interns will also be challenged with identifying innovative income and revenue sources.

The Currituck Club is looking for the self-starting intern who possesses an outgoing, pleasant personality; is always ready for a challenge; and can communicate with people of all ages. We are looking for the 2021 summer intern with a general sports or activities planning background, but not required. If you are that unique individual, who is ready to bring your ideas to a premier resort community environment, we invite you to apply!
CPR and first aid training are provided. We will be looking for one to two candidates with lifeguard certification. This internship is designed for those in their junior to senior level of study who are seeking to fulfill a prerequisite for graduation. This is also a great opportunity for recent graduates who would like to gain additional experience to add to their resume. Intern candidates should be available to work from late May to the end of August. Please mention your area of interest in the Recreation industry in your cover letter and/or introductory email.
Additional Salary Information: Reduced housing is available for our summer intern staff, located approximately 3 minutes drive from our property
About The Currituck Club POA
The Currituck Club is the premier resort destination located on the northern tip of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Boasting a full 18 hole Rees Jones designed golf course, the community stretches three and a half miles along the banks of the picturesque Currituck Sound. With some of the highest spots in the area, there are also breathtaking views of the ocean. The Club has gated access which provides a safe and secure community which members and guests alike enjoy. The Guest Services Program, which is entering into its seventh season, stands ready to plan, program and implement a bevy of events and activities for all who are fortunate to stay with us. During the summer months, the Club plays host to approximately 3,500 to 4,000 guests per week. This population requires the thoughtful efforts and diligent work of everyone on staff to meet their needs.
