As a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) Business Office, the Associate Director of Business Operations will provide financial and accounting support to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: performing complex professional accounting work such as performing monthly reconciliations and journal entries; executing the department’s working fund; managing department and sport fundraising events; managing department inventory; auditing and reconciling procurement and travel card logs and monthly transactions; providing financial information to the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations by researching and analyzing data and preparing reports and performing other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a business office related environment is required. Excellent communication, organizational and report preparation skills as well as demonstrated knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is preferred. At least two years (2) of NCAA Division I collegiate athletics accounting experience is preferred.
